Who am I and why am I taking over the editor position at the Internet site known worldwide for its honest investigation of Ellen White? While Brother Anderson is working on a wonderful mission opportunity (more about that in future months), he asked me to help out as the editor. In the few years that Brother Anderson and I have kept in touch, the more acquainted I get with his ideals and who he is as a person, the more I admire him. I believe in what he has done and he will continue to help give people freedom by presenting truth through this site. His deep desire to help people has prompted him to expand a new ministry that will directly fulfill the needs of "less fortunate" people. This is nothing short of saintly. Shame on the people whose comments I have seen that have attacked his motives, character, and purpose for this site, because you truly do not know what you are saying.

Realizing the powerful impact the ellenwhite.org presentations have had on my own life, and noticing areas of even more potential by site expansion, I have continuously felt "a calling," to help the site further grow. Site expansion can only help people understand even more clearly the powerful role of Ellen White and her dangerous negative spiritual influence upon her supporters. Little did I know that I would be blessed with this position! Now, I know I have big shoes to fill and I will always do my best in every aspect for this ministry. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity to do so!!!

First, if you are curious as to my background, I have my personal testimony here. It is a concise mini-autobiography from the start of my spiritual journey to where I am today. In it I share some important observations based on my experiences within the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

I have prayerfully read and fully researched enough of her original and denominational edited writings to realize that her false teachings have consequences on many levels. I am NOT stating that ALL of her writings are false. There are, in fact, many truthful and powerful things that she writes (or copied from other authors). I publicly state that I wish she was truly God's direct messenger for our time. It would make life a lot clearer and easier to manage as she writes specific instructions for living, doctrines for denominational creeds, multiple warnings of what is to come before Christ's second coming, and how to understand the Bible correctly. It is very comforting to have modern directions detailed for our faith and lifestyle, as the Bible was written over 2,000 years ago. Perhaps that is why a lot of people put faith in her writings to this day. I feel this is why I must contribute in sharing with people the dangers of being in the Ellen White comfort zone!

Because of my direct history with the Seventh-day Adventist church I can understand where you are coming from. I empathize with former members who have made the difficult decision of choosing a better life by leaving the Church. I agreed to be the Editor not only to help those affected by her negative influence, but also to assist those outside the SDA Church who are responsibly researching it in order to unveil Mrs. White's masquerade.

I also believe it is important to share with you that I have become a more spiritually mature and aware individual by way of my journey into, and out of, the SDA church. ANYONE can do it. If you have been affected by the writings of Ellen White in a negative way, whether you are aware or not of the level of her influence, this ministry team is dedicated to helping you put things in perspective.

To begin this year I would like to share my goals for this site:

1. My number one goal is to write something to inspire you and help you along your journey of seeking the truth when it comes to deciphering the role of Ellen White. I am not going to hold back, and that may involve shaking people's comfort zones. I will do my best to be fair and balanced in my interaction through both articles and email correspondences. I welcome any questions or constructive comments; just email the site and I will try to get back with you within a week or so.

2. Reviewing every page within the site to update information such as authors of each article, verifying links and clarity, and more importantly, making sure that these articles are relevant, honest, valid, and not an outlet as a type of revenge toward Mrs. White.

3. A new section within the site geared specifically to help visitors begin to transition out of the SDA Church which contains:

• A frequently asked question page that is geared toward the "what now" thoughts.
• Interaction with the ellenwhite.org Transition Team for those who need to talk with someone who can relate what you are going through.
• To help with your decision, a Commentary page from various contributors as to why they think Ellen White's influence and/or the Seventh Day Adventist Church is a negative or cultic environment to stay involved in.
• A new area where people can share their personal experiences and share with each other.
• And of course tweaking a few things here and there, which you may notice.
